In my last baseball blog I talked about the Twins/White Sox showdown that was going to decide the entire season in one game. I briefly mentioned the pain of missing the playoffs by one game. The New York Mets have missed the playoffs by one game not once, but twice. The past two years even!

Well today in me economoics class, we were discussing how the Miami governor is trying to have the Florida Marlins converted into the Miami Marlins. He also is pushing for a stadium to be built for the Marlins basebal team.

Well, the ongoing pro-baseball-steroid-use scandal kicked into high gear a few weeks back with the Mitchell Report, which ratted on quite a few alleged steroid users in the major leagues, and the scandal has again hit the news.

Last Night I went to Turner Field in Atlanta to watch the Braves play the Cubs. We sat down just as the game was starting and during the first inning The pitcher for the Cubs hit one of the Braves players with a ball and then he made a motion like "Come and get me" Well all the players rushed ontot he field and it was a big to-do.
