The other day I was really angry at my mom for various reasons; mainly, because I had to drive her around for what seemed like the longest errand of my life. My mom tried talking to me in the car about something she assumed I was doing and ended up getting me really frustrated and start screaming at her. I just back from filling out some paper work today for my new job as a lifeguard, and my new boss mentioned that part of the reason she hired me had to do with a previous theft of my personal belongings. I own a light green sweater that I purchased based solely on the fact that its brand was Great American Sweater. It made me feel like I was participating in some grand tradition involving fireworks and stars-n-stripes stove pipe hats. Or campfires and fingers sticky from too many s'mores.
