Many times throughout my life, I have regretted not spending more time with family, with friends. This feeling of loss and disappointment in myself was especially severe after the death of my grandfather in September 2006. I felt like since they were no longer living on earth, I could no longer get to know them better. However, I soon found out that I was wrong.
In elementary school, I loved Art. I mean, I really, really loved Art. I tried my hardest each time I had class, and my work even got chosen to be displayed in the Capitol Art Exhibit in Atlanta. After I finished my art classes in highschool, I fell out of the habit, and out of the hobby I used to spend so much time pursuing.
So, I've been thinking about a tattoo. I am skeptical about getting one, but I've decided I have to get one that actually has some sort of meaning . It has to be a reminder that will stay true throughout my life. I'm think about a Chi-rho on the front of my shoulder, near the collar bone.
Paint’s wicked dead man. Its reached it’s colorful limits, and it’s gone my friends. Oil’s been replaced by new tech, and acrylic’s been swapped for Adobe. Why paint when a push of a button can give you brush strokes that beat out Bacon. Someone once told me that the world needs artists.

The music screeched and echoed throughout the room as dancers in skin-colored leotards danced in seemingly random movements across the stage, completely out of sync with the harsh music. A large audience filled the room, hoping to witness the cacophony created by the independent usage of two genres of art: music and dance.
As I've been pondering what it is that I'm going to my undergraduate studies in, what I'm going to major in and what it is that I'm going to do for a career, I've considered many options. First, I thought I was going to be an Art Historian. But, living in the area I do (even the surrounding area) options for employment are severely limited.
