Everyone I know, and most everyone I don't know, seems obsessed with the quest to leave their mark in this world. Our human race (we'll call it "Frank") has developed and perfected their means of leaving something that'll last, at least for a while. "Frank" has thrown itself unabashed into the proclamation of Self.

Fat Arrogance

It's everywhere; magazines praising curvy women and those women blatantly mocking thin women. It's in overheard conversations, the arrogance of fat people who "live to the fullest" as they say (meaning they eat crap all the time and don't care that they're sacrificing their bodies).

I've been pretty ill for the past... oh... six months or so. By "pretty ill" I mean I am usually physically unable to eat. I have no appetite whatsoever and randomly get nauseas or start puking my guts up even when I haven't eaten anything in the past couple days.

Personally, I LOVE reading. LOVE it. I wanna be an author when I'm out of college. Unfortunately, the rest of the world outside my handful of friends doesn't seem to get it.

Who's Proud To Be An American?

I would like to know who's really proud of our country in the state that it's in.  Our economy is failing, which is so much more awful to us because American's idolize money, wealth, and financial status.  We say that we love our freedoms, but these freedoms come at such a cost.  I am proud that everyone is entitled to their opinions and can express them without fear of dying for them...in theory.  Some people are willing to kill and hurt people because of their opinion.  It was the opinion of the the men that killed Mathew Shepard that being gay was a sin and he should die for it.  Fear of the unkown leads to blind hatred.  George Bush proved that when he used America's fear and anger against themselves and they didn't even know it.  He used our fear to laun
