I know basically nothing about the stock market. Call me a stupid, apathetic teen, but I’ve never been taught anything about it. The only assignment I’ve ever had, in all twelve years of schooling (yes, I said twelve – no preschool or second grade for me), was my sixth grade math teacher setting us into groups, giving us a newspaper, and telling us to pick ten stocks.

What Can You Do?
I have been really thinking about what it means to be an adult, and after having been the diplomatic voice for arguments adults do not know how to handle, there is no room for silliness.

Getting People to Care?
So I am proposing a project for Earth Day at my school... What I would like to have happen is to have four workshop periods, and an extended lunch period, to take up the whole day. Each workshop will be loosely centered around Earth Day, and planned/ run by a student. What I am hoping for is that workshops will come to include "Why Should I Recycle?" "A Day in the life of...
