Summer is way too long. Midway through the summer break, my charges are ready to kill each other. No, scratch that. They are actively trying to kill each other. Spank the Candidates and Send Them to Their Rooms

One important facet of anti-bias education is teaching children about bullying. In anti-bullying lessons, students are taught to identify bullies, targets, bystanders, and allies. Kids are encouraged to be allies who stand up to bullies and aid the target. Parents Protest Controversial "Gay" Curriculum

Parents flooded the gym of a South Minneapolis middle school last week for a meeting about a new anti-bullying curriculum the school will be implementing. The curriculum, called "Welcoming Schools," educates K-5 students about family diversity, gender stereotypes, and name calling.  Read More »
