Yes, it’s true. A spider bit my bum. I didn’t feel a thing. I noticed a tender, red bump that I thought was a zit on Tuesday. On Wednesday, this red bump had progressed to a larger bump with a black center.

Participatory Democracy in a Non-Profit Organization, Part II
This is the continuation to http://www.progressiveu.org/170649-participatory-democracy-non-profit-organization-part-i
I plan for the organization's specific goals to be as thus:
1.To raise funds to enable people to volunteer abroad.
2.To provide helpful information about volunteering abroad.
3.To raise awareness of important causes that need volunteers.

Participatory Democracy in a Non-Profit Organization, Part I
This summer, I plan on traveling to Cambodia on a group volunteer project. I'll be spending about two weeks there with the other volunteers, working at orphanages, street outreach centers, and more. I'll also be doing street and documentary photography in order to raise awareness of the human rights crisis in Cambodia.
On anarchy
The common notion of anarchy is synonymous with chaos, a lack of order, and a generally free reign of anyone with the inclination to control other people. This notion is wrong. People who view anarchy in this way do not understand the meanings, implications, or finer structure of what it really is.

Depreciation of Morals
How many times have you said thank you today? How many times have you held the door open for someone else? What about treating others with respect?
These questions used to be important to people at one time. Now, they are lost in the ever dynamic abyss of the world. Our generation today has lost all sorts of morality. "Why is this?", you may ask yourself.

Olympia/Tacoma Port Protests & Police Brutality
This was written in response to the police brutality at the port protests at Olympia and Tacoma this year.
I was pretty shocked at some of the responses to the police brutality at the port protests. People were basically excusing and minimizing the police's actions against peaceful protesters.

I support conservative anarchy...yes I really do.
Wait just a darn minute. What exactly is 'conservative anarchy'? In my mind, it's all about doing small things that might disrupt daily life a little bit, but it keeps things from falling into monotony. Now, I know that conservative anarchy isn't the best term to describe what I'm talking about, but I like how it sounds.
Why Communism Shows the Potential for Evil Within us all
In America if you lived in the 50's or if your old enough to remeber politcs up through the early 90's then you probably have a skewed view on communism. most likely if you got all your 'facts' and information from the propaganda machine that is the TV media you believe communism is inherantly evil and anything associated with communism is evil.
