The Illinois Funeral Directors Association is refusing to say where funeral cost money went . The IFDA Preneed Trust people promised a low and lower cost funeral to the State of Illinois Folks. Then they proceeded to spend $40,000,000.00 of the trust money and they will not say where it went.

As a funeral director/mortician in the State of Illinois and an advocate of lower cost funerals, reduced funeral costs and the lower cost funeral, I would urge you Not to co-sponsor and actively support passage of House Resolution 892, introduced by Representative Charlie Wilson (D-OH) “DESIGNATING MARCH 11, 2008, AS NATIONAL FUNERAL DIRECTOR AND MORTICIAN RECOGNITION DAY.
