As humans, we pride ourselves in our superior intelligence, customs and advanced way of living. We make great displays of our generosity by donating to charity every christmas and volunteer once in while, walking away with one less hungry person in the world and a "fuzzy feeling". A few years ago I went and worked in a soup kitchen. It was perhaps the saddest thing I have ever done. I was constantly scolded for handing people soup and milk. I was supposed to set it down and slide it and then they picked it up. I was scolded for making eye contact. I was told that if I wasn't more careful they would hurt me.  Read More »
