This is a short answer that I wrote for a college application but the inspiration came from a real life experience that shook me and opened my eyes.It was no secret to me that many Africans do not has access to adequate education but I did not really feel the effects till I took a trip to Sierra Leone my sophmore year of high school.
Hello, All. I am a 28 year old female that have taken a turn from being a full time worker since I got out of school to a full time student. I will be a freshman starting at Keiser University getting a degree in the health field. I am nervous,scared, but as well as excited at the same time for this is something that I have longed to do.

I’m about to turn 17 and this is the year that I graduate. I come from a single-parent household, my mother does everything she can to make sure we have everything we need or want. My mother has never denied us anything that someone else had, she always felt as that if someone else can have it my children have the same right too it so she’s always done everything she can for us, for that I appreciate my mother.
