I used to own chickens. Lots and lots of the little birds ran around the yard, plopped out eggs, and made more chicks. I am an animal lover, and I got to know these birds like the back of my hand. Instead of doing the typical teen things, I would play with the chickens or the dogs or the cats. But, this entry is specifically about those lesser-known fowls.
I remember the childhood days of mutual back and face tickles between friends and family. There were even games that came with them. For the back tickling, you had to identify pictures, letters, numbers.
Those were the days of innocence. The days of imagination and sleepovers. It's amazing that things like that today can seem sexual.

"I just want to be tolerated!"
It's a line I hear often from a rather large amount of my gay/lesbian/bi friends; a line that resonates throughout the overal LGBT community. So, I find myself guiltily wondering, is it selfish of me to want more?
