There are so many things kids need their parents' signature for. Schools send out permission slips for school trips. When getting anything on your body pierced or a tattoo your parents must sign first. When getting a checking account at the bank, your parent signs and their name is on the account until your 18. Some states say you need your parent's permission to visit a tanning salon.

Assuming that you have read this wonderful piece, I will continue with my response.
I have been on both side of this letter. I started out as an unwanted pregnancy, and I had and unwanted pregnancy. To all the true believers with your obvious, unoriginal and completely worn-out arguments against abortion, I politely ask that you promptly get bent.
I remember hearing a story on the radio a year ago about the parents of a 16 years old girl who sued Planned Parenthood because they didn't inform them about their daughter abortion.
