When my daughter was 8 months old my father in law passed away. She loved him. We called him "Zaideh," a Yiddish word for grandfather, and she called him "Day-daw." She said day-daw long before she ever said mommy or daddy. When he passed away my daughter did not sleep for 3 days. My Moon Child

In addition to communicating with animals, my child is a moon worshiper. I love to teach her new words. I enunciate and repeat a word while she studies my mouth and tries to copy the sounds. She loves to learn new words too. Recently I have her saying, "I'm ri-dic-you-ous." Anyway she learned the word "moon" over a year ago from my husband.  Read More »

My daughter's name is Elia, and if you say it correctly, it rhymes with Papaya. Her middle name is Eden.
