While I was watching CNN Situation Room the other day I stumbled on a heartwarming realisation: even if McCain is elected on November 4th, he will face a Democratic majority in both the House and Senate! I am always surprised when I hear people complaining about the crazy Congressional bills or legislation passed on the local stage when they in fact did not vote. I personally feel that you forfeit the right to complain if you didn't vote to keep those you complain about out of office.  Read More »

In the second Presidential Debate and at rallies since, John McCain and Sarah Palin have continually referred to the 'health' of the mother in cases of abortion as a non-issue. Not only am I baffled by the air-quotes, I cannot believe that anyone would say a mother's health is not at issue in regards to abortion legislation.  Read More »
