So, my mom and dad informed me yesterday, while we were visiting with our neighbors, that there was a group of female teenagers who all made a pact to become pregnant before the age of 16. This blog entry is similar to one of my previous ones, titled "Sleezy Latinas", but the only difference is, from what my mom informed me of, the girls were cacausian.
Today, I was talking to my other friend about the Cinco de Mayo Scholarship Pageant that we're both heavily involved in, when another girl, in our biology class, whom I was not even speaking to, interupts me, while I'm talking to Dennis (my friend), and says, "Do you have to speak spanish to be in the Cinco de Mayo Pageant?" & we both replied with, "No." Then she had the audacity to say, "Oh, goo
The other day on the news, there was a story of several families in this one rural area I believe, in Texas that were suspected of abusing their children, so CPS (Child Protective Services) took the children away for DNA testing, which to me was a huge shock because I didn't know that they (CPS) could do such a thing. The parents of the children look wicked crazy too!
Today and yesterday I've recieved Peer Mediation Training, and I left with a certification, which states that I can help around my school with mediating my peers. This means that I, along with others involved in the P.A.L.S. (Peer Assistance Leadership Service) association, are able to help others around our high school with their problems.
Today, I went into the restroom with my friend, Ashley, during lunch, and a while after I'd stepped into the stall to take care of my business, I heard another girl, who at the time I'd assumed was Ashley, go into the stall to the right of mine, and make fairly odd noises. I didn't know what to think, but I was fairly suprised when I saw Ashely standing outside of the stalls by the sinks.
