Progressive… it’s such a puzzling word. To progressive means to move on, but as with all words, words have many different meanings for different people. When I encountered this idea blog, instinctively I thought, “What the heck?”

Personally, I don’t believe that there is anything too different between atheism and religion. What is atheism? Atheism is considered as a belief in no gods, free thought, and individualism while religion is primarily concerned with the belief of God(s). Notice the similarities yet? In the end, they’re both beliefs.

It is certainly understandable that we live in a society with gore filled movies and descriptive books and pictures. Apparently society back during the mid 20th century was more responsive to news such as genocide and war. The Holocaust received much response from people when it was revealed (of course gradually) and the Vietnam War caused the outcry of many people.
