Heath Ledger was discovered dead by his housekeeper today in his SoHo apartment, surrounded by pills. He left behind a very young daughter and a few unfinished films.

Really, I am posting this blog on behalf of my boyfriend.  He's been trying for over a year now to buy a house and move out of his parent's home.  He makes good money and works 40 hour weeks and has a great credit score, but still can't finance enough to afford anything worth buying in the area.

 A few days ago a friend showed us a house that was way below market value because the couple had divorced, and the ex-wife couldn't afford to keep the house herself.  From the outside it looks great, and we know the whole inside has been redone in the past few years-it was basically gutted.  It's still above his price range, but do-able.......if he waits 10 months.  

So, Prince Harry is off to Iraq.

As a student at Moravian College, whenever a possible crime or something of note occurs on or near campus, they send out an email called a timely notification. They are usually muggings, breakins, flashers, things of a relatively minor nature.

In my Ed Psychology class we have been talking lately about Multiple Intelligences, the idea that we have different strengths and weaknesses in different areas such as liguistics, music, logicomathematical, and spatial--rather than cut and dry smart versus dumb.

So a man was discovered in a library at university of California skeeving out all the girl students. they called campus police who apprehended him, and found a camera in his bag. when they watched his footage, it was all of female feet. Foot fetish?

This story really got me goin. A set of polar bear twins was born in captivity in the Berlin zoo in December. The mother abandoned them both, as sometimes happens with multiple births, so they were handraised....one died, but the other is still living, and is all over the media over in Germany.
