There seems to be a slew of homosexual debate based blogs posted on progressiveu recently, and forgive me for jumping on the band wagon but this just hits too close to home. I'm sure that there are people out there who would say this much more eloquently than I and be much more articulate than I tend to be when I'm talking about myself.
I don't entirely understand what the issue is with gay marriage, I don't understand how it's going to affect anything relating to anybody else's personal marriage. I don't see how it takes away the sanctity of marriage, I would that that the fact that just about 50% of marriages end in divorce would do that.
Earlier today on the radio the reporter was talking about some of the top reasons people voted for one candidate or another during the last election. The #1 determining factor of the election was, “Moral Values!” Now I have to tell you that the hair stands up on the back of my neck when people toss that phrase around—it is a very divisive phrase.
