Meaning of Life III

We have free will.

Let us define free will first however.  Free will is that moment where you decide to take one course of action or another.  The decision making process is the result of all that you know through experience and biological and chemical makeup, that presents the options that you have in your brain as to what course of action to take at any given time.

Meaning of Life II

Okay,  I am going to change my style now completely because I was shown the light of reason.  I am no longer going to be rude and criticise or make fun of other people's beliefs.  Why?  Well because it is rude.

If you read my last blog called "Meaning of Life" you will know that my philosophy requires discpline, responsible action and behavior and elimination of actions that cause suffering to others (Lets define causeing suffering "Rude Behavior").  Most of all, my philosophy requires Knowledge.  I have to talk with people and know what they are feeling about my actions, just to make sure "Were Cool" which means that no harm has been done to eachother.  Feedback you could call it.  Read More »

The Meaning of Life

Here I am.  A thinking being.  Everything in my existance leads me to believe that the Universe I am experiencing is real and not a complex hallucination.  If I push a knife into my hand, it will indeed have a direct impact on my conciousness, and cause some pain.  Likewise, if I throw a brick through the drywall in my apartment, it will cause a hole.  That hole will continue to be there until it is repaired.  Once you accept that indeed we are here in this Universe, then you can see that there are other beings like yourself that also have perceptions of pain, joy, happiness, curiosity, etc.  We must assume they are the same as us because their emotions are so similar to ours.  Read More »

God asleep at the Helm?

Okay, the discussion is possible ways a "god" could be possible.  "God and your Brain" discusses other possibilities.

This possibility is that a higher being, created the laws of the universe.  Opposite charges attract, interact, gravity, chemical interaction, etc.  Then he kicked it off going.  Lets call it the "Big Bang" for now.  Then everything else in the universe is just going along with the laws of the Universe set forth at the begining.  God doesn't interact with the model that he created, he just created it.  Comets collide, suns and moons spin, chemicals churn and create different patterns like crystals and amino acids.  strands of chemicals form more of themselves, replicating patterns emerge, and eventually, these replicating chemical reactions act on their environment, and eventually act to try and replicate themselves (survival) and the begining of sentience in life.  All the while it is just chemical reactions following the laws of physics placed by the God setting the controls.  Some things survive, others alter their environment, injustice happens, some life consumes other life, the world turns and everything keeps going on.  Read More »

God and your Brain

Let's talk about existance.  You exist.  You are reading this blog, and that proves to you that you exist.  What you don't realize however, nor have you ever realized until NOW, is that you are actually a brain in a vat of chemicals.  Don't freak out.  NOTHING Will change for you, because there is a mastermind adding chemicals to this vat to keep all of your thinking, feeling and reactions normal as they always have been.  Read More »

What do God, Paul Bunyon and the Tooth Fairy have in common?

Wow!

The Grand Canyon is HUGE!  I mean, it is One mile wide and One mile Deep!  And the chizel work on the sides of the cliffs... Immaculate.  If you ever get to the American South-West, you Definately have to see one or more of their Spectacular Canyons.  They are works of Natural Beauty.

The Grand Canyon MUST have been created by someone it is so complex and beautiful.  Oh, wait, it was!  PAUL BUNYON!  No wonder it is so perfect.  Read More »

No God?

Okay, this is a summary of the other two blogs about the possible existances of a god.

If a god exists it is either

A) an actively controling deciever  (see my "God and your Brain" blog, or www.venganza.org is a good example of the same type of god entity).

Or

B) an entity that set the laws of nature switch and let it run its course without any intervention.  Read More »

Christians are GREAT!

Christians are great.  They don't break rules, they follow orders, and they are willing put up with all sorts of conditions for low pay since they have the afterlife to look forward to.

Since Christians don't believe in Science, or thinking critically, they will never compete with us for the highest positions on the economic food chain.  This is good, because the rest of us get to be the managers and owners of our factories and industries.  The Christians will toil for more hours and less wages, and we only have to give them education that teaches them how to complete their job because they only want to know that and the Bible.  Soon, we won't need to export our factories to other countries because with the new generation of Christians, we will just have them live and work in our factory towns like inexpensive tools, and we will control them with a pastor or priest that costs minimal amounts of money in comparison with the union bargaining, and high wages needed to entice the difficult free thinking people to work for us.  Read More »
