      This website is a perfect microcosm of what the universe of the Internet is.  Flashes in the pan.  Pop starts, and fads, a quick idea that generates a bit of momentum taking it to one level beyond one mind, and carrying with it a few, mabye lots of minds.  But it is average.  Mediocre, and only strives for the benefit ultimately of one.  Sometimes a few, but the rest of those who bought into the idea, are left in the dust playing with some friendly tumbleweeds that blow in from time to time.  Read More »

Jesus was one of the greatest teachers in human history.  His message of the golden rule is the same as other greats like Buddha, Socrates, Gandhi, Martin Luther King Jr.  To live by the golden rule (or an identical ethical principle) is the only way to exist with a pure conscience, knowing that you have harmed no one and lived peacefully.  This message was a great gift and example to humanity.  Read More »

America is in crisis.  Oil has dragged us into war in the Middle East, Global Warming has sent more Hurricanes than ever to ravage our coasts, and we are staring stagflation in the teeth as our gas prices and heating bills skyrocket while our incomes get squeezed.  70% of our electricity comes from fossil fuels, and global competition for these fuels increases dramatically every day.  Something must be done to solve this fossil fueled Fisting of crises.  Read More »

There is one simple solution to the whole Marriage debate in this country that would solve the problems for everyone involved.  Get Government out of the Marriage business all together.

There are problems with eating meat from farm animals.

One of the biggest problems is the toll it takes on the environment.  Pasture lands gobble up lots of the earth's surface that could otherwise be forest or home to other wildlife.  Runoff from animal farms can also be highly toxic to the local water table.  Also, one of the major sources of greenhouse gasses especially methane, is believe it or not from farm animals.  Finally, for the environmental arguement against meat, is the fact that feeding the animals enormous volumes of farmland plants to get such comparitively small quantities of meat, is a very inefficient use of our natural resources.  Read More »
