So there has been a fairly recent phenomenon on the Internet that I have used over and over again for school. Wikipedia always seems to have the answers that I need. Sometimes I go straight to Wikipedia to search for what I want, other times I go to Google to search and Wikipedia is in the top two or three results. It is almost like magic.
So, after not having blogged for about a week, I feel inclined to voice a few opinions on a topic about which I have much knowledge. It is a problem that I feel is almost intrinsic in my nature and in that of many others around me. Throughout all of my years in school it has always been there, and has probably grown worse as and worse as I approach the end of my high school career.
So this might not get the most views or comments in the world, but I just thought i needed to make a comment about it. So I shall.
So, in the past decade video games have come to the height of popularity and with the rise to fame has come much questioning and turmoil. I personally enjoy video games and am quite surprised that they have caused such dispute. From Lemmings to Call of Duty, and Pong to Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six, I have played many games and have experienced most all genres available.
We've all been there at one point or another. Either one of your friends or someone sitting nearby in class has pulled out a cheat sheet for a test or quiz. It is obvious to you, but the teacher never seems oblivious to any actions they make. From writing on the desk, to putting the answers inside of your pen, I have heard and seen many ways to cheat. As I have been applying for colleges and scholarships recently, an essay question came up that got me thinking. It was about what my passions in life were. As I began to think about my life and what I enjoy doing, one thing really stood out: playing the guitar.
So, since I am in a blogging mood, I will tell of a few recent occurrences and some observations from my life. Now I may not be the most eloquent or impressive blogger, but I will try to do my best.
Everyone has heard the phrase that we must learn from our mistakes. But have we heard it so much that we have now turned a blind eye?
Whenever we mess up, which we are bound to do eventually, we must actually look back at what happened and find what went wrong so that we can learn, grow and progress in this life.
