Ok so I was recently inspired to write about this because I want to know what people REALLY think about sites like The Facebook and MySpace. Everyone I know has a page on at least one of the sites. But the people who act like these sites just are not big deals are the same ones who are addicted. My friend/roommate is majorly addicted but she will be the first one to say that it is stupid. As you read this post, a genocide is occurring. In Darfur, a region of Western Sudan (in Africa), babies are being taken from their parents' arms and thrown into fire. Innocent people are being slaughtered. Women are continually raped and abused. And what are we doing about it? Nothing. After the horrors of the Holocaust were revealed, the world said "Never Again" would such an atrocity occur. Yes, that's what I said--downloading music is more important than child pornography. Buy no I did not say that to get your shock reads. I said it because it is true. Based on the laws in our country, someone downloading songs from his computer will suffer a longer penalty than that sick person downloading child pornography from his computer. The penalty for downloading music--10 years. The penalty for downloading child porn-- 7 years. Sounds like a Mastercard commercial gone wrong. This happened just yesterday morning in a church in Baton Rouge, La. Anthony Bell, 25 went to a church that his family was currently attending. There he killed four of his in-laws. He then kidnapped his wife, Erica Bell, and shot her to death. She was found dead in an apartment complex that police say she was killed outside of. Also in the complex where Erica Bell was found were their three children, but they were all safe. The in-laws that Anthony Bell killed were Erica Bell's grandparents, her great-aunt, and one of her cousins. He also shot his wife's mother in the back of the head, and she is currently in serious condition at the hospital.  Read More »

Maybe some of you have already seen this story, but when I first saw this I thought it was the most amazing thing ever. These twin baby girls Remee (the fair skinned twin) and Kian (the darker skinned twin) were born to both mixed race parents. Their parents each have a white mom and a black dad. Experts say that the odds of this situation occurring are about a million to one. To get scientific, they say that a sperm containing all white genes fused with an egg containing all white genes, and contrarily, another sperm containing all-black genes fused with another egg containing all black genes. We've all seen the advertisements for the Girls Gone Wild dvds--for some of us it was against our will. They sell them for like 10 for $9.99. It mainly seems to be a lot of flashing, and some sexual activity between the girls, etc. But this is all done in front of lots of cameras to be put on dvd's and sold to men, maybe some women, everywhere. And when it is all over, girls what do you get? A lovely Girls Gone Wild hat, or even better, a t-shirt! And what does Joe Francis, the owner of this now multi-million dollar empire get for exploiting these girls? With so much focus on sex these days—sex in commercials, sex in movies, sex in videos—you would think that EVERYONE is interested in it. But that is wrong. There are people who report themselves as being asexual. Some are not attracted to males or females, just neutral. Some may be attracted to a certain sex but just cannot go as far as having sex.
