Bruce Weber: F I've always been a big supporter of Bruce and the staff, but this was completely effing ridiculous. You needed to have this closed up months ago. There is no way you should have ever let this become a saga. You needed to press an ultimatum saying, "either you publicly come out and say you're not looking at IU at all anymore or you formally re-open your recruitment so I can continue to look for replacements should you leave." It appears that the E. coli contamination is far from over; Salinas, CA-based Nunes Co. Inc. has recalled lettuce after it found some "generic" E. coli in a secondary water source for the lettuce. Generic E. coli? That sounds sort of like "half-pregnant" or "mostly dead" do us -- we aren't sure if we buy it.
In response to the recall, company president Tom Nunes Jr. said, "Food safety is number one in our company. We'd rather make a mistake and be overly careful than getting somebody sick." Read More »
Well the 2006 MLB Season is over. Alot of wacky and wild finishes. The Tigers choked away the AL Central Division crown vs Royals this weekend. Twins snuck right in and won the division. Cardinals almost had near collapse in the last 2weeks of season. Astros got it as low as 1/2 game before blowing against the Braves this past weekend.
