Just the other day, I was making a joke about how Fidel Castro, the person that essentially the entire US has wanted gone for the longest time, seemed to just keep going no matter what. In fact, I believe I compared him to the Energizer Bunny. During the time he has been in rule, the US has seen 10 presidents in office.
And now I look at the newspaper, and he's officially retired.
