Spending is not the enemy!

Again, I've had it, and I need to do something to save my head the damage incurred from facepalming, headdesking, pulling my hair out, and beating it against a wall (and not necessarily in that order).

I've been hearing the criticisms of the stimulus bill, but one argument sticks out from the rest:

It's been forever since I last posted on here, but in light of certain recent events, I need to boot up this site again.

Just this Wednesday on Countdown with Keith Olbermann, whistleblower and former NSA operative Russel Tice revealed that the NSA spied on average Americans, regardless of whether their calls were inter- or intranational, and singled out journalists in particular. Yesterday, Mr. Tice revealed that some tens of thousands of Americans were having their credit information tracked by the NSA.  Read More »

Is it just too much to ask?

Not even ten minutes ago, this story came across me on the 10:00 news: two teenage boys were walking down Cleveland St. in Groves when a drunk driver in a pickup hit one of them. The injured teen was airlifted to a hospital and is in critical condition; the driver has been issued a DWI charge.  Read More »
