Loving Jesus but not the Church II

Okay... sorry about that to be i sort of stopped short in the middle of a sentence. I meant to say I realized that there is so many people who have different ideas of what Christianity is and it seems as Christianity is this topic that seems to interest alot of people. I think often times, a lot of people forget that even if in the frameworks of our minds, we know that everyone is not perfect, but we somehow cannot help confuse ourselves such as if some one gets straight A's, she must be really nice, and further beyond, but we forget to look at the person rather than the label that lead us to judge a person by that label. For what i mean to say is that a going to church every Sunday or not going to church on Sundays does not mean anything unless u mean it in ur heart, u love jesus as willing to take the time to go to church. My words may not seem to say what i mean, but i cannot find the words to say much but simply, i know that religion is a word i rather not use but a relationship of love and i don't mean love meaning getting everything u ever wanted, but tough love, love that gives what u need, even if you may not understand it or you may not get what u thought u wanted, but tough love always will see to it that ur heart will be fulfilled. Rules may seem to fill the church, but these rules are rules that are meant to protect just as parents have rules to protect kids and they rules meant out of love not strictness. That is what loving jesus and not the church seems to say to me.

Loving Jesus but not the Church I

Recently I came across a newspaper announcing a semimar on "People who love Jesus, but not the church." I am a Christian myself even if i don't feel like i am somethimes. Not I don't mean that I forget I am a Christian and act wild tan instead act as a do good Christian. Well I am neither, but it does not take away my salvation that is rooted in Him for He has given himself to the Lord.

A bit of deaf culture exposed in Love Actually and The Stone Family...

Tagged:  •

I thought it was awesome, there was bit of deaf culture exposed in today's Hollywood films such as Love Actually and The Stone Family. Tyrone Giordano played Ashton Krusher's deaf brother in Love Actually and he also starred in The Stone Family. That was a difference from decades ago when the talkies first started to come out and some deaf were  finding it hard to find jobs in the Hollywood film industry due to the growing uses of voices unlike just merely acting with facial expressions, gestures and body languages.

Da vinci code: fact or fiction?

Tagged:

The ever popular "Da vinci code" by dan brown has turned into some controversy with some people who though knows that the book soon to be turned film coming out soon sometime next week is fiction, but can it be confused with fact and fiction?

The answer would be yes, even if this book is for the mere enjoyment of thrills and turns, sometimes people forget what is fact and what is fiction. I think that the book may be interesting, but it can easily confuse many who may think the book is true even though it is said to be fiction and lead them to believe it helps to grow faithfully in their faith when in reailty, it may not. In fact, it may bring more confusion and questioning of the bible and the facts and fiction may be once again rediscovered.

Art is my passion I

Tagged:

I love the arts. Performing arts, musical forms of art, the drawings, the sketchings, the making of a paper mach'e and all kinds of crafts. They are a great outlet to let my creativity just flow when I am inspired by something I draw or write poetry and go with the flow of my feelings. It can be surprising when I create something inspiring....

Looking for an adventure? Here is one that you do not have to leave home for...

Tagged:

Looking for an adventure without leaving the house? Books are where you would be takent o places you would not be able to go to such as Japan, 18th century, or whatever it takes you to. Books may be boring in some ways, but only if it does not interest you. If you read books that are fictions but written as if it really happened, these takes you to adventures in the character's shoes. To Kll a Mockingbird is one book that not only took me on an adventure to the south, but learn of the prejudice and life in the south that may be fiction in some way, but nevertheless almost real because some things such as an accused rape actually happened in the south. Harper Lee, the author combined fiction and a bit of non-fiction and came up with this book that is a must read. Other books which speaks of struggles of any teens regarding their stuttering problem, living with deaf parents, being the oddball- even with the fiction characters, we learn about others' view and imagine ourselves in their shoes.

Quote that can help you fly...

Here's a quote from Langston Hughe's poem, Dreams that I like alot-

" Hold fast to dreams for when dreams die, life is a broken winged bird that cannot fly."

How true it can be, to dream and go after it so we can fly...
