I've been hearing a lot more people these days commenting that monogamous relationships don't really work. Divorce rates while they've come down in recent years are still elevated. Many more couples are deciding to wait longer to get married and have children, many are deciding to cohabitate instead of marriage, and many are deciding to stay single and pursue careers. So I ask you is monogamy possible? Sure you hear of couples that have been married 25, 40, 50 years but was it really "good" years. Are they really happy? It use to be that people really got excited about the movie season which started just a few days ago, but in the last few years the movie industry has been earning less and less, yet the films are costing more and more to produce. What's going on here? Why the lack of attendence in theaters? Is it because DVD's provide such a good movie going experience? With all the groups out there capitalizing on political issues these days I was wondering how you all feel about them? Do you think people are listening? Are the messages getting through or is it too scrambled with their fast pace and heavy beats? Which of these groups do you all like best right now?

I really like this kind of music myself, I think they could reach the younger generations which are often left out. First let me say that I'm sorry if this word offends you. I'm merely trying to raise a question not be a potty mouth.  At the college I attend they recently put on
"The Vagina Monologues" During this time some feminist groups were selling shirts and pins that said "Cunt" reclaim it. When I asked about this I was informed that theirs actually been a book about this very subject. I was informed that some feminist feel women should reclaim the word "Cunt" and begin to use it in their everyday language. They feel that it would liberate them from the the stigma currently surrounding the word. What was it? What did Eve learn and why didn't kill her that day? Its says in Genesis 2:17 that "for in the day thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die." I've asked this question to a lot of religious leaders and to religious people in general and I usually get the same kind of response. They informed me that the knowledge was of sex: how to have it, that its enjoyable, and that it can be for fun not just procreation. I was wondering if any of you all have heard this? Why are so many Christians against Harry Potter? Its fiction people? What harm is it really doing, its a story about the forces of good and evil about how no matter how dark things get love will prevail, its a story about a child that was able to destroy the darkest of dark lords. I figured Christians would see the resemblence to Christianity. But no many have protested told people that they were going to hell for watching such stuff. But then "Narnia" came out and Christians were all over it, oh this is a Christian approved film.
