The bodies of missing G.I.'s Kristian Menchaca, 23, and Thomas Tucker, 25, have been found. They were found in a ditch, on the side of a road, booby trapped with IEDs.

Maj. Gen. Abdul Azziz Mohammed Jassim, the chief of operations of the Ministry of Defense, said that he had seen an official report and that he could confirm the two Americans had been "killed in a very brutal way and tortured."  Read More »

The Duke Lacrosse Travesty (please read)

So here it is. Three months of pent up frustration about to explode through my keyboard. My analysis and opinion of the Duke Lacrosse "Rape" case.

Let me point out every shroud of evidence that the public has now been informed of. Eh, I'm not so much into politics. I like to debate Religion and theology, law and such, race...I like to argue. Maybe it's a bad trait, but sometimes it comes in handy.

Hear me out. I think those who follow a set religion are noble. I think, generally, they lead good lives, are good people, and aren't a bother. I, myself, was raised Roman Catholic. I went to Catholic grammar school, church every sunday. As I got older, I began to understand that life can not begin to be wrapped up into one simple ideal of what is right and what is wrong, as Catholicism and most other religions tend to preach. I believe in a God, I believe there is something, and I believe there is nothing so important as to simply be a good person. I think that is enough. I've listend to so many bloggers talk about how sad it is that I've lost Jesus, how my life would be so much richer with his presence. I've heard people tell me that without God I will never experience true happiness. I've had people tell me because I have sex with my boyfriend, because I masturbate, because I'm pro choice, pro invitro, pro embryiotic stem cell research, I'm going to spend eternity in hell. And what it comes down to is, I don't care.  Read More »
