I was talking about an incident that happened last school year with my friend and came to a few unexpected conclusions. Here's the incident:

Nabakov wonders about me...
I'm a Law and Order SVU junkie. Being such, I generally cheer when Detective Stabler breaks the pervert's jaw! Wooh, go him!

I hate reality tv...
I absolutely detest reality tv, but I'm absolutely addicted to it. America's Next Top Model, in particular. What I hate about it is that it's not about real life at all! No one's life is like what they portray on tv. It's absolutely ridiculous!

The cost of an education...
The cost of education is rising to inordinate proportions. I very recently was accepted to my dream school. I've been wanting to go to this school since I was a freshman. So, when I got the acceptance letter, I was understandably excited. My parents, depite the fact that they said they were happy for me, were unduly stoic.

Testing, testing...
Well, this isn't all that original, but I've been thinking about it lately for reasons that will become apparent in about, oh, three seconds.

Perfection
I want to be perfect in every endeavour I undertake and in myself. I know that it's impossible, but to me, mediocrity seems a fate worse than death. I'm involved in many acting and public speaking activities, and while I do very well, I'm not as good as I could be. I've been in Forensics (public speaking with different sub-categories.

Human Nature
Human nature is, to me, a double-edged sword. On the one hand, you have the opinion of the cynics: people will try to get the most for the least amount of effort. This makes sense to me. It strikes me as true and I can't ignore it.

The Electoral College
I never thought I'd be one to rant or take my angers out on a computer keyboard, but this has bothered me since I discovered the true nature of politics. I detest the electoral college.
