Betcha you're thinking a little different now?

Ever since I read the books Angel of Hope & Angel of Mercy by Lurlene McDaniel I have wanted to go on a mission trip to another country. [[In the book a girl my age goes with a Mercy Ship to Africa and then in the second book her sister goes]] Well, next July there is going to be a mission trip to Haiti.

I wrote this last night, and decided to post it here. Its just simply my thoughts, concerns etc as my Senior Year of High School draws to a close. There might be a sequel I don't know.

I just got off the phone, from a two hour conversation with the guy I now consider my best friend. Throughout the lost hour of I was flipping through a CosmoGirl magazine from March 06, that was on my shelf from when I was still working on my collage wall. We laughed about the stupid stuff inside, read some of the more serious articles and then his phone died and he had to go.

So, this might not be an 'earth shattering' and life changing blog.
But its about something I feel pretty strongly about.
Happiness.
Life is short, we never know what is going to happen at any moment.

Like almost everyone else in the world, when I am waiting in agonizing long lines at Food City, Wal-Mart and any other stores with magazine racks beside of the check out isles. I skim the front pages of the magazines.
It makes me sick, but every time I see more and more magazines with pictures of "fat" and "thin" celebrities being compared on them.
