I was watching Con Air today, it's a very good movie. There is a part where our stories anti-hero, Cameron Poe, calls a fellow prisoner, mass murderer, Garland Greene, insane. Here in Texas and around the country now, we have standardized tests.  When these first came into effect, people praised them, however they are failing us now.  Kids are getting stupider because of these tests.  All in the name of teaching the test and not what students really need to know.  Read More »
