I would like to spend some time with all of you in the contemplation and dissection of Philosophy. Existence, purpose, and logic should not go unappreciated and unnoticed. “The unexamined life is not worth living.” We are here. Therefore, we should reflect.

My Friends,

Striving for equality is something the United States has always promoted. However, true equality is NOT present in our culture. Is it even attainable?

One problem with our perception of equality is race. We have some honest attempts at thwarting racism and discrimination, but it is never really and truly a problem solved. People who cry out for "equality" of a minority simply contradict their own motives, for their efforts merely place their group upon a different plane. Also, various ethnicities gather and share periods of pride, often times in respect and admiration for influential individuals belonging to their ethnic group. However, those minorities falling under the White/Caucasion ethnicity are labelled "Klansmen" or "Arians" when displaying pride for their ethnicity, which happened to the high-school students who formed a "White-Pride" group. They were expelled. Why is there a time to place any ethnicity on a pedestal? That does not attain equality. Pride in one's heritage is commendable, but it should not become a thing to wave in others' faces.

Every founding father of your United States of America was Christian. Your most fundamental laws, and even your society has been created with those basic principles. Why are so many people now outraged and offended by this simple fact? It does not deny the right to practice religion, in fact it accomplishes the very opposite; Freedom of Religion. This is the very reason many of your early settlers came in the first place- to escape enforced religion in England.

One of the key elements in the downward-spiral of our society's moral fiber is the disintegration in pure respect for women.

No, I'm not talking about the feminist movement, though some of it's aspects I agree with.

I'm talking about the objectification of women. Everyday conversations have become discussions of sexual nature. Men depict women as sexual objects, more-or-less TOYS, and women behave and even promote sexually promiscuous behavior through advertisement and the media. It has become appalling. Forms of entertainment like the video-game industry have resorted to large quantities of exposed cleavage on computer-generated female characters in order to sell their product.
