When I first  heard of blogging, I honestly never thought it would be something I would do. I'm not a writer, I even avoid classes that require term papers. Then things started happening around me. Powerful people were lying, Americans were suffering, soldiers were dying. One thing I noticed was other people at my college weren't really paying attention, and didn't really care to.

GAS Prices Got You Down?

The gas prices are not going to stop growing until we do some thing about it! I feel Bush cares more about his friends in the oil industry than his own country. We need to let our voices be heard. Now is the best time, with elections coming up in the House and Senate. If we write a simple letter to our Congressmen and Senators stating that the gas prices are effecting our lives and something needs to be done.

Cable 'A la Carte' ??

Recently there has been talk about changing the way we buy cable tv. They want to change the system so people will pay per channel instead of paying one lump sum for a large grouping of channels. The claims are that the average household only watches about 17 channels and the predictions were that it will save people money. However if you look more deeply into it, the change benefits the cable companies more than the consumers.
