This morning I heard about the big 7.9 magnitude quake that just slammed central China killing at least 10,000 people. Scary. I truly hope the victims of the hard-hit areas get the aid they need in this difficult time. It will be interesting to see what sorts of repercussions this could have for the impending summer Olympics.

Solar Cooking
What if you could bake your favorite bread, cook up an awesome stir fry with rice, and make some apple-cobbler to die for without using any electricity, and without having to cook over a fire? Democrats across the country are becoming increasingly frustrated with their choice as both democratic candidates are becoming meaner, more bloodied, and are both losing some of their altitude and glory. What are we to do?
Is it time to bring back Al Gore?

One Dorm: Guy + Girl
Some of you may be heading to college in the fall. There is an endless numbers of decisions to be made and things to think and worry about. Will I like college? Will I do well? Will the food be good? Will the professors be nice? Will I get along with my roommate? Who will my roommate be?
What if you could choose a member of the opposite sex as a roommate?
