Love is a good thing to have in ones life. It makes you happy. It gives you a reason to live. It makes your soul feel alive. To love is what we were put on earth to do. We humans are creatures of habit. If we care for someone it becomes a habit. We live longer when we are in love. God wants us to be with that special person as long as we can be. Love feels good. Can you remember your first love? It felt great didn't it? To kiss the other person for the first time, or to hold the other persons hand? The flutter in your heart, the turning of your stomach, it all felt wonderful didn't it? Why do we love? To repopulate the earth? Or is is something we need? People can live a lonely, long life and be happy, but are they complete, do they feel whole? Do people love to just to feel wanted? I think I have a pretty good idea of love, but love isn't something to take lightly.

School Days
So no one knows m ehere but, my name is Shea Steele. I go to Pennsylvania CUlinary Institute. I'm training to become a chef. That is my passion, to cook. Cooking makes me feel alive. It helps me through so much. It's my escape from the real world. It's amazing how lost you get when you cook until you actuallyu start mixing and kneading and cutting your ingrediants. It's so invigorating. I go to school with people from all over the US and one crazy european guy. There is so much to learn from every chef. I have already learned how to cut veggies properly, now I get to learn how to make sauces. The building blocks of any cuisine. They are so rich with flavor, and are so good on different meats. One would not realize how many different thign syou can do with ordinary things like flour and water. I'm only here for one year, but that seems like forever. I live originally in Virginia, and I miss my family. I get to see them soon, then it's back to the kitchen to whip up another sauce.
