Are we ready as a generation to move out and do it all on our own?
I'm trying to figure out how this transition from child to adult is going to take place exactly.
The way I see it, there are a few ways to go on with life after high school. You can stay at home, move out and get a job, go to college, or military (if you're a female, you always have the last option: get married).
So, the question is "Why do I blog?"
I blog so I can be heard. I used to keep a journal on paper just so that I could have a record of my thoughts, to vent and to figure things out. Once I moved to the internet, blogging was first a description of the events of a day but now it's nothing like that.
In the blogging world, I currently manage 3 blogs, including this one. One's for the (VERY) personal thoughts and events that only a few read. The other is for my friends, just for sharing whatever we want with each other. And then this one, a blog to voice out my opinion for so many others.
I'm new to this site, but I'm not going to start it with introductions and all that jazz.
I want to talk Linguistics.
I know, it's not anything about prosperity or responsibility, but it's a fun subject.
Not to mention, also my major.
I've been trying to figure out what I would study (or do) if I graduate with a Linguistics degree. Where do I go? What do I do?
