First, let me clarify that I am not American, but I was compelled to discuss this issue with Americans. Since probably Iraq, America's perception has changed. As an outsider, let me say that Americans are perceived as the world leaders, the trendsetters and definately, the country everyone in the world, was affected by in one way or the other. I watched a show that showed that a lot of Europeans and other countries as well hate America. America is seen as a leader that is shortsighted, only reacting to situations without strategy. America is also seen as a land where the people do not know what is currently happening in other parts of the world with the exception of Iraq, despite the leadership role the country has. Americans are seen as materialistic and commercialized.

I think most people tend to see dating as a pretty scary thing. I have heard of guys actually taking drugs such as valium in order to feel more confident. The dating scene can be pretty challenging and I just want to explore the issue. I want to ask one question, would you rather a person you are terribly attracted to but you just cannot relax and talk about anything?

We have all heard about John Edward's wife Elizabeth's unfortunate recurring cancer. My heart goes to the family and I pray for Mrs. Edwards remmision. This has brought to the forefront the issue of cancer in our society. It is very unfortunate to hear that the federal government cut funding on cancer research.

Snoop Dogg has been arrested on suspicion of using drugs (he reeked of marijuana) on March 11th. He was on his way to Stockholm Sweden, after perfoming with P Diddy and was stopped by police. He was with an unidentified 20 something woman and was detained for 4 hours. The 35 year old underwent a series of tests and if guilty, he will face a fine. It was not his first arrest.

On Monday March 5th six soldiers died when a bomb exploded near their vehicles during a combat operation. In a separate incident a road side bomb killed three. This day was the deadliest since February 7th; eleven people died that day. The deadliest day being on Jan 26th 2005 where 37 Americans were killed. The stats are staring at us in the face,people are constantly being killed in Iraq.

There is a meeting going on in Tanzania Africa about whether Anglican churches should divide because of the ordination of a gay bishop and the introduction of gay priests supported by some quarters. I am Christian and my humble opinion is that the supporters of this gay ordination is wrong. This goes against the bible. Don't they see this?

I have always wondered what everyone would say is their greatest addiction. I think it would be sex for 50000000000( am trying to write billion so please excuse me if it doesn't come out right) would say it is sex. The other 1 billion would be lying to themselves. Anyway it has been the trick most public relations firms use. It does sell.
