Kids today are so spoiled. The last few days I've been talking to my friends about getting jobs, because now that I'm done with my sports I need to make some money. They say that theyre looking for jobs too. I need a job, I need the money.

Should forgein languages be mandatory?

Foreign languages are so often overlooked in schools. I seriously think that a forgein language class should be mandatory. Knowing a language, even a little bit, can help you out later in life a lot. First, the US in a melting pot of different races and cultures, and i think that we should understand the people around us better.

Che Guevara

So for my AP Spanish class, we're doing a movie project and my groups watching The Motorcycle Diaries and then presenting on Che Guevara so I sat down and watched it tonight. It wasn't the first time I watched it, but this time I was really touched. His story is so inspiring and heartfelt.

Springfield, IL: my hometown

Springfield, Illinois... for how much I hate it, it's actually a pretty cool place. We're the hometown of Abraham Lincoln, and therefore almost everything revolves around him. You can even rub his nose for good luck!!

Why always video games?

Sega, Nintendo, Playstation, Nintendo 64, Playstation 2, Xbox, Game Cube, Playstation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, and I'm sure I'm missing more! Video games are a top form of entertainment for people of almost all age groups, but Are people taking them too seriously?
