This will be my second post about Addicted to Race, the weekly podcast produced by Carmen of Racialicious.

I love every single character in ABC’s ensemble drama Heroes. Even the bad guy is awesome to watch. The acting is great, the plot is amazing….and btw there are some really attractive guys on this show!

Heroes has such a talented and diverse cast, and every character story peaks my interest. Tim Kring, you are a smart man.

Since I revealed my top ten favorite blogs in my previous post, I decided I would utilize those in order to start off my first week of blogging on ProgressiveU. Beginning with my absolute favorite: Racialicious.

As a new blogger on ProgressiveU, I have yet to establish my particular niche within this blogging community. I plan to divulge my personal college experiences as a convergence journalism student exploring various cultural opportunities and incorporate that into current events and pop culture. I want to be able to provide unique posts that are entertaining yet informative.

I thought posting about Barack Obama’s presidential campaign announcement would be fitting as my first post for my new ProgressiveU blog.
