Okay, so I've been thinking lately about guys. Oh yeah...that topic.

I'm so tired of seeing guys treat girls badly.  Seeing them rip out my friends' hearts makes me cringe, and watching them make sexist jokes is even worse.  There's a friend I used to have who would tell me to "Go back to the kitchen" if I got him mad. 
Guys of the world: grow up!  Learn that we have opinions and feelings just like you!   I even asked my teacher today, "When do boys stop being so stupid?" and she replied "They don't!".  So what is this?  Maybe it's just the world I'm living in, that whole high school area of life, but it doesn't seem to get better after high school.  I have met plenty of college guys who still laugh at a girl's expense.  Or even worse, pull the "I'll-sleep-with-you-then-never-call-you-again" thing.  Ugh.  Read More »

Okay, so today I signed up to give blood at my school.  No biggie, right?

Wrong.  The people who helped sign me up were extremely surprised that another person (being me) was willing to participate.  And when I looked at the pages, there were maybe three signed up per hour. 

Now, I understand the fact that you have to be at least 17 to give blood, but that should include almost all of the senior class.  And my senior class consists of at least 300 people.  The grand total was 30.   Read More »
