I've held off on the primaries for long enough. One blog on the Republican debate is hardly enough. Let's get down and get with it. Quite frankly, the election promises to be hilarious; it's already ridiculous enough to be some sort of bizarre SNL sketch.

It’s something I see every single day. When I go online to engage in debate, when I get in discussions of current events in Economics class, even when I listen to speeches made by the leaders of our great nation, I see it. What I see is the polarization of our country into two camps. Members of each camp are convinced they are right, and find the ideas of the other camp to be ridiculous.

Honestly, I've had it up to here with Big Oil. Let me tell you why, but first let me show an article from the New York Times. (My regular readers will have seen that one coming.) I must warn you, I'm in no mood to be nice or particularly funny today. I've had about enough.

First of all, if you've missed me, I'm terribly sorry. I've had a lot on my plate of late. But I simply couldn't let Musharraf off the hook any more. He needs a nice little verbal whipping from yours truly, then maybe he'll stop his shenanigans.

Let me state for the record that I am a Zen Buddhist. Before you say anything, I must warn you that there is a penalty of death by a thousand cuts for anyone who says "The fat guy?" after I state this fact. Buddha was, in fact, thin; the fat guy is a different individual altogether. If you find out his name and tell me, I'll give you a cookie. Now! To business.

There's a lot to love about the environment, mostly the fact that it's purty. There's also a lot to love about the environmental movement. I myself am writing this having just come from recycling four years worth of extra handouts that lay dormant in Mrs. Johnson's cupboard.
