My dad informed me a couple of weeks ago that Brazil, a third world country, is converting to ethonal instead of using gas. Now, why is it a third world country can make that switch but the US can't? America has enough resources to where it is able to convert to ethonal, but America is so consumed by money that they would rather jack up the gas prices to make a profit. If that weren't true then oil companies would not have had a 7% increase in profits.

Is Van Gogh's art work masterpieces or pieces of crap?

 An exchange student from Korea in my art history class thought that they were just a bunch of crap. She didn't come out and say it like that of course, but she couldn't understand why people were paying millions of dollars to call a jacked painting their own. After all, they could just go paint something like that themselves for much less money. As an art major, I disagree with her. I believe Van Gogh's art work were masterpieces. Maybe not in the sense of naturalism, but for originality they were. So, what do you guys think? Should his paintings really be worth millions?

Why do colleges charge so much for tuition and books? I can't understand why universities keep raising their prices. With all of the students who already go to the school and pay for tuition, you'd think that could afford to lower the prices a bit, but no they keep jacking the prices up. What's worse is some universities kick students out of the dorms after their sophmore year and expect them to work, keep their grades up, pay for an appartment, and school.

Oh no!  Average Americans are getting fatter and fatter each day thanks to waking up with the king, afternoons with Mickey D, and late nights with Jack while so called top of the line Americans, celebrities, are shrinking away with the help of cave men like habits. Back in history, people were fat if they had money and people were sticks if they had none, but today the roles are reversed. What’s wrong with society? It all has to do with the subconscious.

I live on a border town in Arizona. That means lots of Hispanics are all over the place shopping, working, going to school, you get the point. It's kind of funny actually because they make up such a large percentage of the population that the Hispanics who can't speak English go around asking white people from like Montana if they know Spanish. Of course the Montana native gets offended and remarks that it's America they should learn English.
