I was asked a question today. If you had one month to live, what would you do? Would you still be where you are today, or would you leave and do what you really want to do and stop wasting time by putting it off tomorrow? I mean seriously guys! One month to live.....what would you do? I was just curious how many of you would stay on the same path you were on and wouldn't change a thing. Or what would you change if you knew that you would be gone soon? Just a interesting thought...kind of makes you want to live your life that way, thinking you only have one month to live.

Well I was talking to my boyfriend a couple of days ago, and he starting telling me about this story about some buddies of his going to hotel parties, they pick up the prostitutes that are waiting around outside and pay them for sexual favors. To my disgust I started thinking about how common that must be. Women selling their bodies for cash. The thing is my boyfriend is in the Navy, he is in Chicago right now, and he tells me women stand outside their base all the time waiting for sailors to come pick them up and take them to a hotel room.

Well the issue of the day...believe me there are a ton of them racing through my head. But here is one that sticks out. Today is voting day. Hopefully all of you voted and had your voice heard. I actually came across a ton of people today who said they didn't vote because they didn't see the point, and their vote didn't count anyways. I wonder why this idea has become so apparent in our society (with young adults that is) Is it because of the Bush election in 2000 where some people feel like it was a stolen race? I'm very curious, I personally feel like that is one main reason.

Well this is definetly a first, blogging is totally a new and insane concept to me. However I love talking about politics and getting my ideas and opinions out there. And this site seemed like a good way to get my voice heard. To be honest I don't care if you agree with me about the issues I decided to talk about or not, all I ask is that it gets people talking. It gets someone to sit back and really think about the world around them and see what is truly going on.
