Against Affirmative Action

Temporary: Lasting a short time. Would anyone argue that 40 years is not a short time? Myabe if it is relative to the life of the planet, but in terms of my lifetime, 40 years is not a short time. Affirmative Action, a supposedly temporary solution to a problem, has been around twice as long as I have and shows no signs of going away anytime soon. Something needs to be done.

Everyone looks forward to turning 18. You finally become an adult and can "do whatever you want to do." Most people look forward to turning 21. You can drink and buy alcohol, rent a car, and enter those obnoxious drawings to Win a Car that are always present in the malls. I am looking forward to turning 24. Why you might ask?
