Gay Marriage Vote Blocked

The vote on a proposed Constitutional amendment that would allow the legality of gay marriage to be put to a vote was rightly blocked this afternoon. Massachusetts is still the only state which allows full fledged marriage, though many are beginning to legalize and recognize civil unions.

In the article one person claims that they are fighting for their constitutional right to vote. I have one thing to say to that.

Split in Pro-Life Movement?

It seems that there is a bit of a rift in the pro-life movement. Perhaps not a big one, but it is there none the less. It seems that the differences between "incrementalists" and "purists" is causing some tension. Surprisingly this stems from a "victory" for the pro-life cause, the PBA ban. The fight now going on stems from a conflict between Colorado Right to Life and Focus on the Family. (You can read more about that conflict here, you may need to poke around a bit)
