With Memorial weekend behind us, 4th of July is next. While walking into Kroger on the Saturday before Remembrance Day, I noticed American flags flying, quotes from the national anthem, and I thought to myself, shouldn't we express our patriotism everyday?

Is it ever ok to lie?
Is it ever okay to lie? If so when?
One lie just leads to another, which gets you deeper in than you may think.
A white lie is defined as something insignificant that you lie about.. for example : Oh, I was in the restroom, but in all truthfulness, I was in the kitchen...
So, when does lying about little things progress into being a pathological liar?
Internet Safety
While having the internet is a wonderful resource, there are other sides to it as well. Rumors can be posted on a message board, an e-mail you send about your co-worker could easily be forwarded, private photos can be shared, someone could create a fake profile about you, there are also ways for people to steal personal information, such as your social security number.
Relationships
what comes to mind when you here the term "high school relationship" or "high school sweet heart"? Maybe the stereotypical fluke of a relationship, maybe the school quarterback and head cheerleader..Well, the women in my family met their husbands in high school, in fact, their senior year. Who knows when you'll meet the one for you, will you ever?
Technology dependent?
Are we dependent upon technology? I constantly find myself sitting next to someone, and texting at the same time. Is this becoming an issue? People always having their cell phones on them at all times, and then if the battery goes dead and you're not near a charger you freak out?
Cystic Fibrosis: A gift or a burden?
CYSTIC FIBROSIS:
is a deadly genetic disease affecting 1 in 3000 people in the US. It is considered rare. It affects the lungs, the pancreas, and depending on your genetic mutation, it affects pretty much every organ you have. The body creates mucus that is too thick, thus allowing the germs to buildup and lead to an infection.
Win or Lose: You're still a team
Win or lose, you're still a team. I'm tired of going to my local high schools baseball games and seeing the team members toss the bats as a way to vent their frustration. We haven't won a game all season, in fact, if you were to total our scoring points it would add up to 7 total. Tonight, they played hard, members got injured, they sacrificed by bunting, and so forth. And still, they didn't win.
A Loophole in the system.
I discovered a loophole in our government, and I'm sure its not only affecting me!
