Should substitute teachers have degrees or be able to be in a classroom with no expirence.  I sub and often am put in a class (such as math) that I can not be of any help.  However, the school sends me to babysit.  Is this right?

What are fun things for this summer.  I am packing my house and moving into a rental while my new house is being built.  Very scary time for my family right now.  Needing some fun family ideas that I can do while going to college and in transition.

In Colorado over the past 3 weeks 3 firefighters have been seriously injured.  2 over the age of 50 - one is critical and 61 years old.  I am not age discriminatory at all - however, does age effect our physical ability (regardless of what shape you are in) to perform tasks, and should age limits be given to those in high end physical needs such as firefighting???

Hello everyone:

Now that I have a daughter, I really watch the "girl thing" I am curious and concerned.  At four  years old, she was having little girl spats with other little girls.  At five she began receiving phone calls from other girls, now at six (almost seven) she is talking about the boy she loves, the girls she hates, who wore shoes that did not match the outfit and who is flirting to much.  I am totally frightened!!!!  Read More »
