In my room,beside my bed,there is a huge window.The view outside the window ain't that grand.Like for today,the street lights are extra glowy,trees are swaying under the gentle breeze,couple of houses in sight,a brown dog curled up in corner....am I seeing it correct? A man?

My friend died yesterday.She committed suicide.She looked at herself in the mirror.I could see the pain,as she slit her wrists and then relief wash over her.I could have stoppped her.I could have yelled and called for help.But I didn't.I just watched her,watched her die.Her blood staining her clothes...my clothes.

This poem is written by a girl who has a broken family.Her parents think she is perfectly fine,but what they fail to see is the sorrow inside her.She likes to write poems and once her mother asked her,"Why don't you write about "mother"?" And she did,but never showed it to her.Because she was sure that her mum didn't have this in mind.

My dad is in Army, so moving around from one place to another is a ritual that repeats after every two years. It at times makes me feel like a gypsy. We can as well call ourselves "The Traveling Family”.

In my earlier blog, I had mentioned how the marriage between Carol and Max was over the rocks. Carol had discontinued her studies so that she could be with Max. But after some time, he adviced her to go back and complete her graduation. And as she loved him, she did as she was told. This is how I got to meet one of my best friend in the college, Carol.

Recently, I finished reading a book called "For one more day" by Mitch Albom. It is a story of a mother and a son, and a relationship that lasts a lifetime and beyond. It explores the question : What would you do if you could spend one more day with a lost loved one?

If anybody askes me what I would want to do before I die. I always say that I want to visit Italy,Spain and France .I would also say that people should also visit India. It's such a beautiful country. I have travelled to most of the states in India. And it's so exciting, the culture, the people- who are so hospitable unlike few of my stuck up New York friends.

My best friend is college Carol is going through a very rough patch in her married life.She had been married to a guy named Max for about two years. Max works in a different country and is 2years older than Carol.So that she could be with him and not cause a strain in their relation, she discontinued her studies so that she could be with him. They have been married for now, 3years.
