live earth: hypocritical?

So I am all for the Al Gore's plan to make a better world and stop the negative effects of global warming. But I have to wonder if this concert is making things worse instead of better. I mean there is so much electricity and the carbon footprint from this concert has to be huge! I know they did all the little things like provided plates made out of recycled paper and they tried to stick to artists who were already in the area so that they didn't have to fly private jets but still.

Liberals are mean to Conservatives! But Conservatives are never mean to Liberals

Ok, ok don't get all mad. I don't believe that title up there. That's just what my teacher tried telling me today. He's a conservative and usually he's very good at seeing both sides although he of course has his opinions.

I just watch a YouTube video about when the vice president came to town. Actually, I was playing a tennis match that day. But I honestly must say I hate politics. Or at least what people do to it. Or maybe it's more i hate protesting? Or perhaps I hate ignorance, and low insults.
