Spring Break

Absolutely speaking, the more money, the less virtue.

I'm proposing this (quote by Henry David Thoreau) in a debate.   i believe that the richer you are, the less morals and ethics you'll have.  And the more money is involved, greed will overcome (maybe).  Like when big companies  step on those puny ones as if they're nothing.  Just because you have all the money in the world does not mean you're happy.  Also, money does soemthing to your personality, and whatever you do (whether with money or not) it isn't selflessness anymore.   I know some of my wordings are weird, BUT what do you think about the quote?  Let me know!!!

STUPID People and GUNS

I don't understand why people find the need for guns.  I know most people will say it's for safety, but guns just aren't safe.  In certain situations, I can admit, they come in handy, like (to quote my boyfriend) if you were to be attacked by a cougar.  However, instead of protecting the people, they threaten us, injure us, or sadly of all, kill us.  2 of my friends were recently murdered with guns.   They never even stood a chance against those callous steel, as well as the heartless people behind the cruel, inhuman act.  They were good people, loved by many, who did not deserve to die at such a young age.  They had so much to live for, but instead, it was maliciously taken away.  It's those stupid people i loathe who can't let things go, or see it as the only way, or even doesn't care no matter what or who they hurt in the process.  Why can't people just forgive and forget???...is that so hard??!!!  I know it will be at first, but with time comes healing.   And with God, all things are possible.
